As you have experienced with doctors nowadays, the wait to see new physicians is sometimes longer than expected. We request your records and previous chest images be sent for us to review. This will save us time during your visit and help plan your care. We triage patients according to the seriousness of their condition. A person coughing up blood will be seen before a patient that has had a cough for 5 years. We have a thriving office practice, but we’re in clinic half a day. We also see patients in our hospital practice the other half of the day. We do procedures on both inpatients and outpatients.
Please keep your appointment if you’re a new patient. It make take a month to reschedule you. We do not have a waiting or cancellation list. Those spots are filled up with patients that need to be seen urgently.
We know there are fewer lung specialists in the area as many of our colleagues have retired or are retiring soon. Our younger colleagues only want to work in the hospital and not see clinic patients at all. So there are fewer and fewer doctors available.
Our mission is to provide quality care in both the clinic and hospital settings.
Patience is a virtue, but being a patient is sometimes a pain.
